NASHVILLE, TN, September 29, 2017 – The Nashville Chamber of Commerce held its annual celebration Thursday, September 28 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Event Hall. Along with Stephen Davis, CEO of Kingdom Cleaning, k2forma President and Founder Kelly Koeppel presented the Small Business Regional Impact Award.
This year’s award went to Batch Nashville, a company that offers locally made gifts curated from Nashville makers and others throughout the South. The award was presented to the business in recognition of its efforts toward providing high-quality, local goods to its community as well as helping local vendors distribute products nationwide.
Kelly and Stephen also gave the chamber’s update on small business initiatives and spoke about the newest leadership program called Leadership Connect. The new initiative provides a six-month program to a cohort of ten small business owners that will teach them everything about community and business leadership.
Prior to this year, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce has held annual meetings, but this year’s change to a celebration was made to recognize the region’s immense growth. Notably, Nashville now ranks as one of the best places in the country to work, live and play. In order to mark Nashville’s diverse business growth, the 2017 Regional Impact Awards also recognized efforts in education, economic inclusion, transit, business issue advocacy, health, and international business.
