Honoring the hand crafted tradition of fine chocolates that Tempered creates, we designed their brand to be hand crafted with a uniquely French story of a mischievous cat, a forlorn cow, a missed connection on a bicycle, and a man who is late for his vacation. Delicate and playful, just like their chocolate.

Brand Statement
Tempered is where people can escape the norm and enjoy a high-quality experience. Handcrafted chocolates and a unique atmosphere offer a respite from monotony and renews your sense of wonder. Once you pass through the front door you’re transported to a small village in Alsace-Lorraine, where time slows down and conversation picks up.

Our Approach
We worked with the team at Tempered to help them define their focus as high-quality chocolate. We then developed this idea that the brand itself would tell a quirky story in little pieces – just like chocolate – on its own it’s wonderful but put it all together and it’s magical. We illustrated the characters and elements and built the brand which included packaging, signage, web site, t-shirts, and more.

a new web site that makes it easier for customers
to order and purchase their fine products. This site
opened up their opportunities to sell to customers
outside of Nashville.
